The designer's note
It reads at once as a tuxedo cat looking up into the sun, and the eyes carry. The bib reads as fur flowing down from the chin; a shoulder with a glossy sunlit edge and a chest in layered fur. At dusk the bib glows peach, and the black coat stays black with its streaks.
